It was a rush, but Apple has just wrapped up their Scary Fast October Mac event. A short and tasty 30 minutes, the event saw Apple reveal new CPUs and two new devices -- just in time for Halloween. All of Apple's announcements from its October event are listed below.

The latest M3 microprocessors

Apple has introduced the M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max, the final three members of the M3 family. They're built using the 3nm technique to cram in greater power and performance. The business says that "Dynamic Caching," a feature of the GPU, dynamically allocates the use of local memory in hardware to the exact amount required by each job. As Apple puts it, this is a first in the industry because it "dramatically increases the average utilization of the GPU, which significantly increases performance for the most demanding pro apps and games."

There are either 8 CPU cores or 10 GPU cores in the M3 processor. The M3 Pro processor has either 11 or 12 processing cores and either 14 or 18 graphics processing units (GPUs). The M3 Max processor likewise comes with either 14 or 16 CPU cores and 30 or 40 GPU cores correspondingly.

Macbook Pro with the latest M3 Processor

The new M3 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros from Apple are the first 14-inch MacBook Pros to have Apple's base-model M3 processor. With the addition of the Pro and Max chips, the 14-inch model now offers three different combinations, while the 16-inch model offers two. The starting price of $1,599 is also much more fair. Except for the screen, the chassis, and the ports, everything else is the same as the previous model. The M3 Pro and M3 Max now come in a stunning new color called Space Black.

M3 iMac

Apple's 24-inch iMac, which features the same M3 CPU as the earlier M1 model, is now available in the same seven colors. That's right, in addition to the same 4.5K Retina display, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are included. In addition, it has a 1080p FaceTime camera, up to four USB-C connectors, two Thunderbolt ports, and more.
